Welcome to Jeevan Blood Bank
Jeevan Blood Bank and Research Centre was
started on 24th September 1995 with the vision of providing, on demand, safe
blood and blood components collected from non-remunerated voluntary blood donors
using appropriate and current technologies and in accordance to international standards.
Jeevan is a not for profit community blood bank situated in Chennai, India and managed by a Board of Trustees. Over the past eleven years has collected over 69,000 blood donations and made available over 120,000 units of safe blood and blood components to the community.
In the 12 years of our existence, our conviction in our vision has been reinforced by the transformation that we have been able to create in transfusion medicine. This has helped us to make a positive difference to the lives of many individuals.
We owe this success to the thousands of people who have come in the path of Jeevan as blood donors and financial donors and have helped in pursuing our vision.
